The Book Festival is coming at the “El Nigromante” Cultural Center

    They organize “Fiesta del Libro” at the Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez “El Nigromante”, a free and multicultural event that will bring together readers with booksellers, mediators, creators, and lovers of literature, from June 15 to 22 at the home of the National Institute of Fine Arts (Inbal).

    It is a completely free event for both exhibitors and visitors.

    It is a cultural program free to the public, which adds to the traditional Book Festival or Alianza Pro-Lectura, La Tertulia, the Sororas y Rebeldes collective, local writers, and other organizations, to position itself within the Network of Book Fairs throughout Mexico, where the international and national Book Fairs stand out: Filminería in Mexico City, FIL in Guadalajara, Fenal de León, Oaxaca, among other fairs.

    The San Miguel de Allende Book Festival 2022 is an open space for publishing productions in any of its forms, as well as favoring access to the largest number of people who live in and visit the city.

    San Miguel de Allende has the particularity of attracting creators from all over the world. Welcoming the readers of the region; children, seniors, young people, reading mothers, promoters, collectives, foreign communities, and tourists, will find a point of contact with the letters, therefore, with reflection, imagination, and creativity.

    This first San Miguel de Allende Book Festival coincides on respective dates with the death and birth of Ignacio Ramírez “El Nigromante”, eponymous insurgent hero, journalist, writer, and deputy in the Constituent Congress, and liberal collaborator of the Reform Laws.
