Marty is the best of the best! Not only is she a multitalented phenom of furniture design and interiors, but she is also the coolest person with great personal style. I’m seriously considering buying another fixer just so I can talk to Marty everyday again! My house was transformed and is now my oasis from life.
We worked with Marty shortly after moving to SMA. She helped us renovate our kitchen. She is FABULOUS! Great design ideas. Attention to cost/budget. Excellent communication. Knows an outstanding team of carpenters and crew for the actual work. Highly recommend!
Marty taught me the importance of color. Her ability to see a design solution instead of individuals items is outstanding. She was able to show me how to make my house more cohesive and flowing through the use of color. One of my bathrooms didn’t feel right. The granite, tile , cabinets and flooring didn’t appear to go together. Marty selected a color for the walls, one I would never have thought of, and the transformation was amazing. I highly recommend Marty for her design abilities, but also for how easy she is to work with.
Marty brings her talent as a painter to her interior designs. Using color and light, with paint and selective purchases to stay within our budget, she transformed a boring condominium into a pretty and inviting home for my mother when she moved. Marty was sensitive to her needs, and created a space that we all love to spend time in. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and will definitely work with her again.

We gave Marty Kimmel a shell of a room, and she transformed it into a gorgeous, inviting, warm, versatile space for the reading and meeting room for the Literary Sala. She transformed the room with exactly the right paint; created beautiful lighting; selected perfect large posters for the walls; designed tasteful, strikingly beautiful furniture and worked with the carpenters to have it made; and completed the room with every detail in place.
