After almost two years out of service (1 year and 10 months), the President of the  Rehabilitation Center says, “The Integral Rehabilitation Center has excellent services to  attend to physical and neurological disabilities for all ages. Right now, our youngest patient  is 22 days old, and our oldest patient is 80 years old.”

CRISMA, operated by the Vamos Mexico foundation, provides diagnostic services and  physical and neurological rehabilitation treatments, for those who have limited resources.  Collaborators include the city, the state, the University of Guanajuato, Patronato Pro Ninos, and Karnik Child Neurology Consultants of Austin, Texas.

“In this great reopening we can serve more patients. This center has room for 500 patients, has the largest therapeutic tank in Mexico and all the services needed for comprehensive rehabilitation. It also has speech therapy, psychology–everything needed for excellent service,” said Marta Sahagún in a recent interview. Marta Sahagun is president of the Vamos Mexico foundation and wife of former President Vicente Fox.

“During the four months before the pandemic, before we had to close, we had a few patients.  During the pandemic our patients moved to other places and facilities, but we are going to look for all those we already had and much more. Today we have a living, specialized that provides integrated services to all of our patients and, above all, seeks to integrate them into society so that they can have a better chance in life”, concluded Sahagún.

Marta Sahagun de Fox, mother of three sons, has played a prominent role in the development of policies to  optimize resources for Business Administration, Human Resources and Women’s Participation in Business,  Creativity in Business and Excellence in Market Administration.

As part of her interest in continuous training and education, Marta de Fox has taken part in several  congresses on Politics and Administration, Municipal Public Administration and Women’s Political  Development. She has also published various articles in the national press.

She taught at the Universidad Lasallista Benavente, where she taught English, after studying English in Dublin, Ireland.
