If you like chess but because of the pandemic you couldn’t continue, then we have good news for you.

The Chess Club of San Miguel de Allende (CASMA) is reopening its classes and invites you to participate in the next chess workshop that will start on January 24.

As part of the reactivation of chess in the municipality, CASMA is back with classes and this workshop is the first activity with which they will start this 2022.

The classes arise from the interest of the population of San Miguel and will be taught simultaneously by 2 of its super expert instructors Rodrigo and Freddy, two young men passionate about the so-called science sport.

The workshop has a recovery cost, the funds obtained are destined for the other cultural and sports activities promoted by CASMA in the municipality.

“Our intention with the classes is to bring chess back to our community and that from them emerge the next champions who will represent us in the next national games as we have done before”, said its president Arturo Salazar.

They are waiting for you Monday and Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Terra Café located at Vicente Araiza 31. La Lejona.

It is an outdoor space with all access protocols against Covid-19.
