Casa de Allende Museum to reopen its doors

    This coming Wednesday the Casa de Allende museum will reopen its doors after being closed for almost a year and four months due to the arrival of the pandemic, taking actions such as closing places where people gather, including museums. This reopening will be carried out following the sanitary measures that mark the new normality.

    Intermittently and despite the fact that the house of the First Soldier of the Fatherland, Ignacio Allende, who works in this place continued working to keep the museum in good conditions.

    And despite the fact that some of the museum’s collaborators, will return to work until August because they are considered vulnerable to the pandemic, this coming Wednesday, June 16, the Casa de Allende will reopen its doors to welcome culture and history tourism.

    This reopening will be carried out following sanitary measures, from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. To enter, visitors will have to go through a sanitary filter where they will be asked to wear masks at all times, not to bring bags and packages, groups of no more than 6 people and to follow the indications of the museum staff.

    It should be noted that the capacity will be limited to 30 people and once the limit is reached, visitors will be admitted as other tourists leave the Casa de Allende. This reopening action is taken after the federation has put the state of Guanajuato in green according to the epidemiological and reactivation traffic light.
