During this winter season, the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia) has delivered blankets to more than three thousand vulnerable families.

The municipal DIF has visited around 45 communities in the rural area, where there are inhabitants with greater economic need and are more exposed to the cold in their homes. For this reason, 6,850 blankets have been delivered to more than 2,000 families.

For the remainder of this year and as long as low temperatures continue in San Miguel, the Municipality will continue to deliver these warm clothes to more vulnerable localities. The goal is to complete 10 thousand blankets delivered.

During these acts of delivery, the DIF disseminates and makes available to the people its services, support, advice, facilities, and especially its staff, to serve each of the members of the households visited.
