Live a Three-Day Experience for the Day of the Dead
With historian Graciela Cruz and Jesús Ibarra
1st Day (Monday, October 31st) Live the experience of building yourself a traditional offering for the dead in Cruz del Palmar, Otomí community from the 16th century, under the guidance of the community leader don Magdaleno Ramírez. (9 to 1pm approximately)
2nd Day (Tuesday, November 1st) Vist to the funerary spaces in San Miguel; underground crypts at the Parroquia; antique crypts at La Tercera Orden (next to San Francisco church); old cemetery of San Juan de Dios (12pm-3pm).
3rd Day (Wednesday, November 2nd) Visit the Otomí cemetery in Cruz del Palmar, visit the offering we made ourselves at Don Magdaleno’s house and taste the traditional Day of the Dead food. (11-3pm)
