      This is a restaurant where we eat breakfast often, primarily because of the setting and the convenient downtown location. The restaurant is in the large, shaded, open-air courtyard of a colonial mansion, with a fountain and mature orange trees wrapped in Christmas lights. The menu is simple, traditional Mexican/American, and it is reliably good. They often have a guitar player during breakfast. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch, and for dinner from Wednesday through Saturday.

      Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
