Critical Donations Needed for Cruz Roja & COVID-19 Response

    One of the most important institutions in San Miguel is Cruz Roja and they need our help!
    .

    > They are the emergency service arm for our city
    > They respond to all 911 calls
    > They are our ambulance service
    > Their services are free to the community
    > They are funded by donations and fundraising
    .
    Because of COVID-19, they have more expenses than resources and they are teetering on the edge of not being able to operate. This would be catastrophic for SMA. As a community, we need to raise 500,000 USD or 10,000,000 pesos for the 2021 year to support the very important life-saving work they do every day and even more so now during this pandemic.
    .
    NGO’s, and social media platforms across San Miguel are uniting in an effort to raise funds for Cruz Roja to ensure that their work can continue.
    .
    Please think about how your family can help – how much you can contribute to the campaign? ANY amount will help…. and for those that can do more….A really good idea that’s coming to light is donating our stimulus checks to this important cause.

    Remember, these are the people who provide help and hope when we are at our most vulnerable. It’s our turn to support them and they need us now more than ever as we face the toughest weeks and months ahead with COVID-19.
