Virtual events and civic act to celebrate the 252nd anniversary of the birth of the Generalissimo Don Ignacio Allende

From 18 to 29 January, as part of the 252nd anniversary of the birth of General Don Ignacio Allende y Unzaga, there will be concerts, workshops, exhibitions, talks, dances, courses, theater, among many other activities, all virtually in response to health contingencies.

The municipal president Luis Alberto Villarreal Garcia, accompanied by the director of Culture and Traditions, Paulina Cadena placed the first side of virtual activities, officially starting the cultural events in commemoration of the 252 anniversary of the Birth of the Generalissimo Don Ignacio Allende y Unzaga.

A total of five sides were placed in the corners of the main garden. The first and fifth by Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal García and the director of Culture and Traditions Paulina Cadena, the remaining three by members of the cabinet, including the Secretary of Government and City Hall Jesus Gonzalo Gonzalez and the trustee Vero Agúndis, the treasurer Alejandro Martinez and the director of municipal DIF Adriana Elizarraraz, the director of Economic Development, International Relations and NGOs Francisco Garay and private secretary Maria del Rosario Carreon.

The camp contains the calendar of activities that will take place between January 18 and 29 with concerts, workshops, exhibitions, talks, dances, courses, theater, among many other activities of which the unveiling of a plaque in the bakery “La Colmena” stands out, in recognition of 120 years of history and tradition.

All events are virtual and will be transmitted live from the official social networks of the municipality, in response to the health contingency by Covid-19.
