The 26th edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) will take place next July. On this occasion, it will address the challenges and opportunities that Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents for the creative industries, mainly audiovisual.

“These new technologies promise to revolutionize the way we work, live, and even how we think. True to our avant-garde spirit, AI will be used in all areas of the Festival; editorial, events, accreditations, conferences, etc. As a sign of the new paths that are opening up to our creativity, we present this year’s official image, designed with AI guided by graphic artist Analí Jaramillo” which detailed the festival during the presentation of its image for 2023.

“The ethical and intellectual dilemmas caused by AI are not a futuristic question, its disruptive power is present here, right now. Like all cutting-edge technology, it offers us both new capabilities and new threats.”
