Even though three of my stories about how various holidays are celebrated in San Miguel de Allende are included, I just finished reading (and admiring the fabulous photos) to be found in the unique “Insider’s Guide to the Best of Mexican Holidays,” a compilation of the stories of 22 writers living all over Mexico and writing in English, edited by Carmen Amato. It came out on Amazon just before the recent winter holidays as a Kindle-only read for the unbelievable price of only $1.99.

I am now in my 13th year of living in Mexico and I have already published one book about SMA and will soon release a second, but I learned so much about all of the ways Mexican holidays are celebrated around the country by reading this book. So, I recommend it and you can get it at https://geni.us/holi (this link works for Amazon in any country).

While you’re on Amazon, I invite you to check out my three books to be found there: “An Orchid Sari: The Personal Diary of an American Mom in 1960s India” https://tinyurl.com/s6bf3uh, “Ice Cream & Pretzels: A Memoir” https://tinyurl.com/yxymp85g, and “A Lifetime to Get Here: San Miguel de Allende” https://tinyurl.com/y5q6eaxb, all also chock-full of great photos.

    Enjoy and thank you!
