Great celebration of the Three Wise Men

In an event led by the municipal president Mauricio Trejo, accompanied by the Three Kings, the children of San Miguel enjoyed a very pleasant moment in the company of their families, since they were given toys on the esplanade of the Main Garden, in addition to having the opportunity to take pictures with the kings of the east.

“Even if you don’t see, the Three Wise Men get up very early, they make a lot of sacrifices and they have to work hard to be able to do that magic and bring gifts to their home. You should always remember the Three Wise Men fondly and you should always thank the Three Kings, because there are wise men and queens. I also had to celebrate many “January 6ths”, delighted with life, waiting for it to be done in the morning so that we could see what they brought us and if on this occasion we can help the Three Wise Men to bring and distribute the toys of their sons and daughters, delighted with life,” said Mauricio Trejo.

It was through the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) that more than 6,000 toys were delivered to the children of San Miguel, who experienced another moment of happiness on one of the most significant days of childhood.

In addition to the delivery of toys, the traditional Mega Rosca de Reyes was broken and on San Francisco Street all the citizens enjoyed a bite of kings, by the Sapasma.

Accompanying the municipal president, various authorities made an appearance at the delivery, such as Mariana Arzola, municipal councilor; Brisa Calderón, director of DIF; Raúl Vallejo, municipal treasurer and Martín Salgado Cacho, board member of Sapasma.

In support of the Three Kings, the staff of the Directorate of Traffic and Mobility helped in the delivery of toys in different parts of the historic center, mainly at the intersection of San Francisco and Juárez streets, which generated more smiles to the children of San Miguel on this special day.
