Starting this weekend the dry law will be lifted in the municipality, that is to say, you will no longer have to struggle to get a drink during the weekends, since you will be able to sell them in your favorite store until the normal night limit.

It is important to remember that due to health issues, a few months ago, the application of the dry law was approved in the city, which indicated that on weekends no alcohol products with low or high alcohol content could be sold in closed containers, starting every Friday at five in the afternoon and until Monday at noon, due to the fact that many people failed to take the COVID prevention measures when they met and consumed intoxicating beverages.

Therefore, the sanitation measure was applied for several weeks, but now that the traffic light is yellow and conditions have improved in terms of coronavirus infections, the Municipal President Jesús Gonzalo González decided to lift the restriction in order to boost the local economy.

This new determination is effective as of tomorrow, April 23rd of this year, so each business will be able to operate normally according to its alcohol sales license.
