With the dignification of the cemetery of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the municipal administration successfully carried out the first day of remodeling in cemeteries.

More than 85 people were given free paint and 120 tombs were painted by the municipality in conjunction with the citizens of San Miguel, who from very early in the morning on Mother’s Day came with entire families or people with their closest companions, to leave a better image in the place where their loved ones rest.

The director of Public Services and Quality of Life, Laura Flores, highlighted this initiative of the agency she is in charge of, which was promoted by the municipal president Mauricio Trejo: “The participation is being outstanding from the citizens, they are accepting very well that we are giving paint for the tombstones or the ironwork. Mr. Mauricio Trejo is completely committed to all citizens, the commitment is palpable in each of the actions we are doing and he is very happy that the citizens participate and join us because he is clearly convinced that the government makes the real change with the citizens. That is the true sum and effort that is palpable in a change”.

For this first day of dignification of the municipal cemetery Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, the great work done between the people of San Miguel and the Municipal Government was reflected, since this action was well accepted, as in the case of Mrs. Adriana: “I think it is very good, the truth from my point of view is very good and I think it is the first time they do it because I come not so often, but on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and had not seen anything like this”.

For his part, Mr. Israel Salazar, commented on his satisfaction with the Municipality for these actions to dignify the image inside the San Miguel cemetery: “This is the first time we are seeing this and I think it is perfect. It is a satisfaction for us and also, we give a very good view to what is our municipal cemetery”.
