Seafood is always an excellent option, whether it is because it is a hot day and you wish to try something different or simply because of a craving. In addition, seafood can be eaten in so many different ways that there won’t be a day when you could get bored with them. They can be had in broth, as a cocktail, a steak, roasted, fried, or in any style, the list is endless.

On Mesones 11 you will find one of the quietest terraces in the city, with a beautiful view of San Miguel. Most of all, it is a coastal-style setting as pleasant as you could imagine, the place is Baja Fish Taquito, seafood restaurant.

Their specialty, as its name suggests, are fish tacos. But that is not all, they have all other types of seafood, although it is the fish taco which has become the dish that many of the locals and tourists know them for and come to try. However, they have excellent seafood cocktails, breaded fish fillets, seafood a la diabla or in other forms, tostadas, shrimp consommé, ceviche and many others that form part of the restaurant’s offerings. There is even a menu for “the little ones”, consisting of dishes such as chicken nuggets, French fries, cheese fingers and breaded fish fajitas.

As far as drinks, of course the micheladas and classic cocktails must be included, and they also have non-alcoholic drinks. Make sure to follow their social networks to get to know them better. You will fall in love with the looks of the dishes even before you try them which we are sure you will love.

The best of San Miguel’s budget options and a strong introduction to Mexico’s hallowed-street food tradition, Baja Fish Taquito serves fish tacos, seafood cocktails and vibrant, lime-laced ceviche in an informal cafe-style setting. Portions are generous, piled high onto soft maize-flour tortillas and topped with fresh salsas and pico de gallo (a Mexican garnish made with chopped tomato, onion and chili), while the service is swift and accommodating. With it’s low prices (around US$1 a taco) and central location, Baja Fish Taquito is ideal for a quick stop amidst a full day of activities.
