The Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, led the signing of the Collaboration and Coordination Agreement for the Strengthening of the State’s Social Policy, through the Guanajuato Contigo Sí Card.

Through this agreement, 3.7 million people with no right to health insurance in the state will be able to access the Gto Health System.

“It is a very clear message, the people who need it most are not alone; the State Government is with you. That is our commitment. A commitment that is reflected in deeds and not words. That is reflected in everything we are doing to improve health, education, income, housing, neighborhoods, and communities,” said the Governor.

The users of the Gto. health system will be able to have more timely and efficient attention with the simplification of administrative procedures, as they will only need the Gto Contigo Sí Card to be attended, without the need to carry all the personal documents.

“In this great effort, the Guanajuato Contigo Sí card is present as a tool that helps simplify administrative procedures for citizens. Anyone who does not have health insurance can access our state health system, and now they will be able to do so more easily through the GTO Contigo Sí Card,” said Diego Sinhue.

The GTO Contigo Sí Card is valid until 2024 and takes only 10 minutes to process at the GTO Health System centers. Three requirements are necessary: INE, CURP, and proof of address.

This means that users will save on transportation costs when they are treated in health centers outside their locality.

The State’s social policy has a model that allows the articulation of all the agencies and entities to meet the needs of the population.

The agreement was signed by Jesús Oviedo Herrera, Secretary of Social and Human Development (SEDESHU), and Daniel Alberto Díaz Martínez, Secretary of Health. With this, the State Government advances in its objective of guaranteeing access to quality medical attention for the population without social security in the territory of Guanajuato. The event was also attended by the Mayor of Silao, Carlos García Villaseñor; the Federal Deputy, Salvador Tovar Vargas and members of the Silao City Council.
