Want to get away for the weekend but don’t have a destination yet? Don’t worry, here we have an option that might interest you for sure. Without a doubt, Guanajuato has many wonderful locations that fascinate thousands of tourists every year. However, one of the favorite destinations is undoubtedly San Miguel de Allende.

From its gastronomy, wine, and streets full of life and tradition, there is no doubt that San Miguel de Allende is a city you can’t miss. However, in addition to its long tradition as a cultural city, it is also an ideal place for adventure activities.

The San Miguel Adventure Park offers several activities such as ATV rides, horseback riding, and zip lines.

“We have the zipline activity for this we handle two circuits, a full circuit consisting of 7 lines and a suspension bridge. We also have the half circuit that would only be 3 lines and the hanging bridge, each one has different prices”, said Elizabeth Zúñiga Juárez from Parque de Aventura San Miguel.

Ziplining is one of the most attractive activities in the place, where you can enjoy the scenery and have an unforgettable experience.

“The first [zipline] is 300 meters long and 50 meters high; as you advance, the distance and height decrease. The two highest are the first and the last one, the last one has less height, but it is faster than all the others,” said Elizabeth.

What other activities does the park offer?
Other activities available at the San Miguel Adventure Park include ATV and horseback riding tours, which are definitely not to be missed.

The ATV tour lasts approximately two hours. They take you through the lower part of San Miguel de Allende and the historic center. On the other hand, the horseback riding tour also lasts two hours and takes place in a 260-hectare protected area.
