Every April 23, love and literature are celebrated massively throughout Catalonia. On the occasion of the festival of Saint George either Sant Jordi -also World Book Day- the streets of Catalonia overflow with people who go out to discover the latest literary novelties and buy flowers for their loved ones. This emblematic Catalan festival is celebrated in Mexico for the second year, with books, roses and rich dishes for Mexicans who want to join the tradition, whether in Mexico City, Monterrey, San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan or San Cristóbal de las Casas.

The Delegation of Catalonia in Mexico and Central America has prepared an extensive program, in partnership with bookstores porrúa, Penguin Random House Group and eight Catalan cuisine restaurants, which will include joining the tradition of exchanging books, giving each other roses and sharing delicious dishes.
