Through a coordinated effort between JuventudEsGto and the Ministry of Health of the State of Guanajuato, 57 young members of the JuventudEs Planet Youth Community received training to prevent problems such as harassment, bullying, suicide, school dropout, and addiction prevention in adolescents.

For several weeks, young people from 14 municipalities such as Acámbaro, Celaya, Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Irapuato, León, Moroleón, Salamanca, San José Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Silao, Uriangato and Valle de Santiago received professional training in order to generate youth intervention programs and thus generate healthy lifestyles in the young community of the state.

Toño Navarro, general director of JuventudEsGto highlighted the work and commitment of more than 50 young people.

“It is so great to be able to participate directly in issues that truly transform our reality, our society. And that is why today I want to celebrate and really embrace this project with great strength, to tell you that from the institute we will be generating each and every one of the necessary conditions for this type of projects to continue to occur frequently.”

He added that the Youth Empowerment Communities are born from a great initiative that is to strengthen arms directly with young people and to be able to see what aspects should be worked on to create actions and generate common good.

Today JuventudEsGto has communities in different environments such as Culture, Sports, Healthy Lifestyles, Promotion of Peace, Social Development, Educational Promotion, and Innovation, Empowerment of Women, Ecology, Technology, and Industry 4.0, among others.

Finally, he urged the young people to continue working, to continue being agents of change in their community to generate positive impacts in the state through cross-cutting work.
