With great success San Miguel de Allende became “The City of Jazz”

After four days of concerts of national and international stature, the birth of San Miguel de Allende as “The City of Jazz” was a great success expressed by the sanmiguelenses themselves, the foreign community, tourists and also by visitors.

“The City of Jazz” began on Thursday, November 17 and concluded on November 20 and had more than 12 thousand spectators in the Main Square, attendees expressed their gratitude for this great music event in “The Best Small City in the World”.

The same artists expressed, through social networks, their excitement at having participated in the first edition of this great Jazz festival. “So much perfection in a single concert”, was one of the anonymous comments with the highest level of positive responses on social networks; so there were many comments that viewers published on social networks of the tourism page of the Municipal Government.

The streets of San Miguel were filled with sound and melody expressed by local, national and international artists, allowing the enjoyment of locals, foreign community and visitors.

In gratitude to this audience, the international jazz musician Magos Herrera expressed her gratitude to the people of San Miguel during the inauguration, as she saw it.

Born artistically and today is a benchmark of jazz in the world:

Thus, in its origin, “The City of Jazz” was a resounding success in the streets, hotels, restaurants, bars and other public spaces that were enlivened in a way

free for the most select national and international jazz in this World Heritage City.

With events of international stature, San Miguel de Allende is strengthened as the ambassador of Guanajuato in Mexico and the world.
