The municipal government headed by Luis Alberto Villarreal, representative of the Blue Action Party (PAN also called “blanquiazul”), ordered to paint in blue the buoys at the crossroads of the Celaya Exit, a device used for road safety.

Since this weekend, the work coordinated by Samuel Mercadillo, who started this government as Director of Transit, but was later changed to Director of Transportation and then created the position of Director of Mobility and Traffic Lights, is in charge of the work to paint in blue the buoys that we saw before in yellow.

These buoys, which can be made of plastic or metal, are used to delimit traffic lanes, restricted areas and to reduce speed.

And since the buoys are not contemplated in the SCT Regulations, it is a device accepted as a safety device, so in San Miguel de Allende, Mercadillo, former Transit, now Transportation and now director of Traffic Lights, came up with the idea that blue (like the blue and white) was a good idea.

A few weeks before the beginning of the campaigns, is when the blue color of the PUBLIC AND road signs was changed.
