    In San Miguel de Allende, through a commemorative act in the Civic Square, citizens were invited to remember that the Mexico of the twentieth century was forged by the will of the people themselves and will serve as an example for San Miguel to return to the good times.

    The trustee of the City Council, Faviola Correa, said that “today as 111 years ago we seek better conditions for the people of San Miguel. We invite you to continue working for a better San Miguel, to be revolutionary and fraternal. To continue being an exemplary city, recognized in the world for its beauty, hospitality, good treatment and for the high civic and ethical values of its inhabitants. Sanmiguelenses: let us honor this belovedterroir.”

    Correa González urged people to be bold and contribute their effort to improve this municipality, with innovative ideas and find solutions through dialogue and conciliation.

    As spokesman for the municipal president, the Ombudsman stressed that this municipal government will recover the luster that San Miguel de Allende and its people have.

    During the civic act alluding to the 111th anniversary of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution, organized by the Directorate of Education and Infrastructure in coordination with the primary school ‘Revolution’.

    Honors were paid to the Flag with the touches of ordinance of the war band ‘Guerreros Fénix’ and the interpretation of the Mexican national anthem by Professor Vladimir Bautista.

    In addition, the teacher Sandra Ramírez announced the historical review of the Mexican Revolution, to give way to the cultural program, with the danceable “La Raspa” presented by the students of the First Grade of said school and the choral poetry “Revolution” interpreted by the students of Third and Fourth Grade of said school.
