“Vasijas/Vassels” New Exposition opens at Dos Cases Hotel

    The first show of the new exhibition program of Dos Casas Garage begins with a spectacle when exhibiting “Vasijas/Vessels”, with the purpose of presenting new ideas, as well as bringing people together and sharing the experiences belonging to the well-known Dos Casas hotel located in the historic center of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.

    It is worth mentioning that this exhibition will be curated by Mario Ballesteros, editor and curator specialized in contemporary design, architecture, and material culture.

    The exhibition “Vasijas/Vessels” shows the archetype of the vessel with different contemporaries making unique pieces of different materials, techniques, and ethical postures, being a unique art, as well as worthy of observing and having in homes.

    The intention of the exhibition is to create a new niche for both local and international collecting, which is why all the works on display will be for sale.

    Likewise, the event is a kind of collective celebration of the reserves and resistance that over time has been able to sustain various approaches to contemporary creation, especially in this time we are living in the pandemic caused by the Covid-19.

    It is worth mentioning that “Vasijas/Vessels” will be open to the public from October 21 to November 7, 2021, at Dos Casas Garage, located at Umarán 42, Centro, San Miguel de Allende, where the visit will be by appointment only, as well as with the pertinent health care, this to avoid the spread of Covid-19.
