The traditional “De la Conspiración” and “Simbólica” races return!

On September 13 and 15, the traditional “La Conspiración” and “Simbólica” races return to San Miguel de Allende, which have been part of the celebrations of the national holidays of the Sanmiguelenses for more than 50 years. In recent days, the call was launched for the San Miguel athletes to enroll in the 67th Conspiracy Race and/or the 75th symbolic race. They announced that the route will be the same as in previous years.  It will start at the Jardin, then they will go on Correo by Santo Domingo, then down through San Francisco to the municipal palace, from there to Cuna de Allende, el Cardo, Ancha de San Antonio, Zacateros to Las Monjas, Canal, Hernández Macías, Calzada de la Luz, Hidalgo, Mesones, Núñez, returning through San Francisco until reaching the finish line that will be in front of the municipal palace.

First, the Conspiracy race will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 5:00 in the afternoon, where the starting flag will be given by the great monumental clock of the San Rafael temple, so the participants must arrive at least 15 minutes early so that they are not left out of the race. For the Symbolic race, in which they will bring symbolic fire and the message from Corregidora’s house in Querétaro on September 15, the first 18 participants of the men’s free category and the first 10 participants of the women’s free category will be qualifying, from The Conspiracy Race.

The qualified group will go to Querétaro in a special and protocol ceremony at 3:00 pm on September 15, and will be obliged to carry out the exit and entry acts, as well as to make their respective relays during the race, indicates the regulation shared by the municipal authorities.

As a prize, in the Conspiracy race, a trophy and a uniform will be given to those classified for the Symbolic race. And a commemorative medal for the first 500 participants to reach the finish line.
