San Miguel is the best place to welcome the New Year!

The World Heritage City was filled with magic on a vintage night and once again became the best destination to welcome the New Year.

With more than 17,000 San Miguel de Allende residents and tourists, San Miguel de Allende experienced a spectacular New Year’s Eve night and a final count full of surprises and shows, where hope, faith and love invaded the hearts of those present, who in the company of their family and friends saw the arrival of 2024.

This special night from the Best Small Town in the World began with a musical atmosphere from 10 p.m., continued with a spectacular video mapping in the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel, saw its peak when all those present celebrated the arrival of midnight, the time in which it marked the New Year and, with it, a magnificent pyrotechnics show, which, accompanied by an illumination of the San Miguel monument par excellence, dazzled the thousands of spectators.

Subsequently, the dances, applause and chants were not long in coming, since a DJ was in charge of setting the mood for the early hours of the morning with mixes of international music. Once this show concluded, the pop-rock group, High Moon, closed a 100% family evening that extended to the bars, restaurants and other spaces of coexistence, where the warmth and quality of the people of San Miguel once again showed that this municipality is in the preference of the people to celebrate one more year in the company of their loved ones.

In terms of security, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) reported a “White Balance”, which meant that the operation mounted for this weekend was fully complied with, by keeping the integrity and assets of the attendees safe.

Celebrating the New Year in style, the Government of San Miguel de Allende kicked off 2024 by endorsing San Miguel de Allende as the Ambassador of Guanajuato, by making Mexico and the world beat, because this New Year is going to be better every day.
