San Miguel de Allende purchases machinery for lily extraction

Given the emergency scenario generated by the proliferation of the aquatic lily in the Allende dam and the absence of both CONAGUA and the Municipality of Celaya to combat this pest, the Municipal Government of San Miguel de Allende has decided to acquire specialized machinery for the extraction of the aquatic lily.

The exponential growth of the lirio has generated a strong affectation in the economic, environmental, and health aspects; therefore, Mauricio Trejo Pureco, president of San Miguel de Allende, in response to the requests of the residents of the area and because of these affectations, has determined the acquisition of machinery to extract the lirio and face the emergency caused by this plague.
