It is two weeks until the “Day of the Dead”, a tradition that is celebrated on November 2, and the gardens of downtown San Miguel de Allende, as well as the gazebos at the entrances, are already being dressed in cempasúchil (marigolds).

On Wednesday, October 19, a group of employees of the Environmental Department of the municipality are working on planting the traditional orange flower that opens the roads in the Main Garden.

There are about 18 thousand pots of marigolds that this year were destined to decorate the public squares and entrances of the city.
