Le Bélier opens in San Miguel de Allende; specializing in aluminum casting

A year ago, the first stone was laid for the Le Bélier company in the San Miguel de Allende industrial park, and today, July 1, the 19,000-meter space was inaugurated. This plant is the second French company in the country and will generate 500 direct jobs.
Guanajuato has an obvious focus on three goals: Industry 4.0, manufacturing, and the reconfiguration of the automotive industry to electric cars, assured the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo when he attended the inauguration of the company Le Bélier.
“We want innovation to be part of our backbone, we don’t just want to build cars, we want to design new cars; we want companies like Le Bélier to bring their research and innovation centers to develop wealth from knowledge in Guanajuato,” said the governor.
Le Bélier, a company with a history
Le Bélier, of French origin, is a global foundry group, specialized since 1961 in the manufacture of aluminum molded components, which participates in the reduction of CO2 emissions for the automotive and aeronautical markets.For the installation of Le Bélier in Guanajuato, the project was completed with the states of Querétaro and San Luis Potosí but finally decided to settle in Guanajuato. The investment made is 102.2 million dollars, with 510 jobs committed.
At the inauguration event, it was highlighted that the current state administration had achieved an accumulated investment of 3,301.4 million dollars and 36,877 committed jobs. France is Guanajuato’s sixth-largest trading partner, with 16 companies installed, and an accumulated investment of 1,528.03 million dollars, with 864 jobs committed.

The inauguration event was attended by Ange Kard Rasidy, Director of Le Bélier Mexico; Yan Chen, CEO of Le Bélier; Beniot Cipolleta, project manager in San Miguel Allende; Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development; and the mayor of San Miguel, Mauricio Trejo Pureco.
