Inauguration of important works in rural and urban areas of the municipality

    In response to the commitment to improve the quality of life of the people of San Miguel, City Councilwoman Verónica Agundis, on behalf of Mayor Gonzalo González, led the inauguration of various social and educational infrastructure projects in rural and urban areas.

    “It is an honor to be with you, the pride today is because, every place we go, we see work, and we see a government close to the people. With the PAR program we were able to achieve several works throughout the municipality, what we have achieved these 3 years of government is because we learned to work as a team, and it will be like that until the last day. Thank you very much for your participation! Altogether, today and always, San Miguel of the people!”, expressed Verónica Agundis.

    In the Allende neighborhood, they delivered the stairway of the Callejón de la Paloma, a work that contemplated an investment of close to 140 thousand pesos and directly benefited the inhabitants of this area, in addition, they built a small plancha where they can celebrate the festivity of the saint they venerate in a more dignified way.

    On behalf of the beneficiaries, Diana Zarate emphasized that the construction was completed in record time, and they can now enjoy it, “infinite thanks to each one of you for being part of this project, it was years of waiting, and now it is a reality,” she said.

    Next, the municipal authorities attended the ‘Virginia G. de Anguiano’ elementary school in the Ejido de Nueva Pantoja to inaugurate the new shade mesh roof that will benefit 150 students who will be able to carry out their sports and academic activities in a better space, once they return to classes.

    The principal of the school, Julieta Rodriguez said: “fortunately our requests were heard, during the pandemic we were lucky and had the opportunity to meet people who offered us a hand and supported us in everything, they were aware of all our requests”; she also thanked for the support of the municipality for the rehabilitation of the floor of the school library.

    In the rural area, Verónica Agundis, accompanied by the Secretary of Government and City Hall, Luisa Granados, the councilors Patricia Villa and Reyna González, as well as the directors Rosario Licea of Welfare and Social Development and Francisco Jiménez of SAPASMA, inaugurated the new synthetic grass soccer field in Santa Teresita de Don Diego.

    The delegate Patricia Martinez thanked on behalf of the community, she assured that “this government has helped us a lot, it knew how to work and here we are standing, the PAN government has been the best, we achieved what we set out to do,” she said.

    Finally, in Flores de Begoña, they inaugurated Libertad Street, which was rehabilitated with ball stone, thanks to an investment of more than 800,000 pesos that will benefit the entire community; for this, the delegate Herminia Cansino expressed her gratitude on behalf of her neighbors.

    On her part, Karina Guerrero of the works committee shared: “yes we are grateful, more than a work is an example of partnership that we could have with this government; thanks to the PAN governments, the works committee and the water committee, it was achieved with sacrifice and effort; it is the result of working all together”; she concluded.
