European firm confirms US $100 million investment in Guanajuato

    With more than 100 million dollars, Le Bélier, a world leader in aluminum casting for the automotive industry, confirms its confidence to continue developing investment projects in Guanajuato, according to information from the state government.

    During his visit to the company, Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo highlighted that this investment announcement for the construction of a production plant in San Miguel de Allende represents the generation of 500 jobs.

    “The old continent has given us its confidence through companies with a high level of automation and Industry 4.0 such as Le Bélier, whose project in San Miguel de Allende will be the only one nationwide that brings together all aluminum casting techniques through state-of-the-art systems. Together we give confidence to investment,” he said.

    The State Executive highlighted that in a meeting with David Guffroy, CEO of Le Bélier, and his team, they shared that their investment in Guanajuato was a good decision because of the connectivity, highly competitive workforce, possibilities for new business, and local supply ecosystem that the state offers.

    In addition, he pointed out that the local government shares the vision of the company Le Bélier, in caring for the environment and social work with the community.

    “That is why we take care that the companies that arrive have a high social commitment and with the care of natural resources, that is the case of Le Bélier, which has an SBT certification for the good of our planet”, he said.

    This company serves the auto parts market for brands such as BMW, Mitsubishi, Daimler, Continental, Hitachi, among others.

    Le Bélier has a workforce of 3,200 people, is present in three continents, and estimates more than 290 million euros in sales by 2021.
