The agreement with COPEMSA expired says DIF

The parking lot of El “Cardo” is closed, it has been closed since August 30. The director of DIF, Adriana Elizarraraz Sandoval, says that the agreement they made with COPEMSA expired, an agreement they never talked about, nor has it come to light.

In the parking lot they also adapted some facilities to serve tourists, where before there was an Isseg pharmacy, they removed it to give these to “tourism”, they made a cafeteria, an area of handicrafts and a module of attention to visitors, and that were opened at the same time that the new rates were launched in the parking lot (that all proceeds would go to the children of the DIF), on October 30, 2019, these facilities were opened with the name of “Lobby San Miguel”.

These facilities are also now closed.

Everything is dead at the site. The 11 trucks that had been bought to take the tourists around are all stopped inside the parking lot.

All entrances to the parking lot are closed, secured with chains and padlocks, and the gatehouse is also closed and empty.
