    Alejandro González Zabalegui, Vice President and General Manager of La Comer Group, announced the opening of City Market La Comer de San Miguel de Allende. Over  750 million pesos were invested and has 260 collaborators.
    La Comer is one of the most important self-serving companies in Mexico with a total of 76 stores (5 in Guanajuato, with 1 employees). Their business formats are focused on meeting needs at different socio-economic levels and ranging from grocery and perishable products to general goods.
    At the event was Governor of Guanajuato, Mayor Gonzalo Gonzalez (and other officials).

    “The arrival of City Market is a confirmation that Guanajuato continues to be the best destination for investments in our country, even in times of uncertainty at the national level; because in Guanajuato there is stability and the rule of law, clear rules, certainty and continuity in public policies,” he said.

    This investment is a confirmation that the state’s economic recovery continues to advance and is on track to recover the jobs lost during the pandemic.

    “It is a first class supermarket, for the people of San Miguel and visitors from all over the world that visits us. In addition, with an excellent restaurant and a large wine cellar; La Comer is one of the most important self-service companies in Mexico,” he said.
