Citibanamex cultural centers reopen, including the ‘Mayorazgo de la Canal’ in SMA

    Citibanamex cultural palaces will reopen their doors as of Friday, November 12, including Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal in San Miguel de Allende.

    In a press release, the financial institution that spreads Mexico’s culture through its association Fomento Cultural Citibanamex A.C. informed that after several months of closure due to the Covid pandemic, as of November 12 the Iturbide Palace in Mexico City; the Casa Montejo Museum in Merida, Yucatan; the Palacio del Conde del Valle de Súchil in Durango, Durango; and the Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, will reopen their doors to the public.

    The reopening will be carried out under strict sanitary measures, with a maximum of 30% of the visitors, the use of antibacterial gel, the obligatory use of masks, temperature taking, and a distance of 1.5 meters between each person during the whole tour.

    For visits to Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal, in San Miguel de Allende, take into account the following ?.

    Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Free guided tours: Tuesday to Saturday at 12:00 and 16:00 hours and Sunday at 12:00 hours.

    Capacity: 30% (360 visitors per day. 40 visitors per hour).

    It will be possible to visit without a reservation.
