Andrea Brook performed in the main garden of San Miguel with her event Sonic Butterfly, before hundreds of San Miguel residents and tourists, as part of the activities of the Festival de las Artes San Miguel de Allende.
An event that began with a batucada in front of the parish church where tourists and locals gathered to listen and enjoy the event, and danced to the rhythm of the drums, saxophone, and trumpets.
It was at 9:00 p.m. that the lights were turned off and the parish was filled with color through images to start one of the most anticipated activities within the Festival of the Arts.
Eduardo Adame, president of Casa Europa, thanked the tourism authorities of the State and municipal authorities, as well as the institutions that joined in this festival to make it happen.
He commented that this festival of the arts is for all San Miguel residents and tourists to experience more than 70 activities in different parts of the city and that most of the events are free.
The concert lasted a little over an hour, where different rhythms were combined with the acoustic harp of more than 10 meters long that its copper strings were sounded by the artist Andrea Brook, this harp in the shape of a butterfly that represents the transformation was in front of the parish clinging to the balcony of the bell tower.
Andrea Brook has visited different countries presenting sound and visual interpretations, creating the architecture of the places in a giant instrument, such as the acoustic harp that came out of the parish of San Miguel so that the sound of the strings enveloped the attendees who were underneath.
