Cumpanio Price range: $-$$ Located on the corner of Correo is Cumpanio, a restaurant/bar/bakery and serves up food similar to what you’d find in a Mediterranean bistro. Imagine more of a European vibe than Mexican. The sophisticated dining area has an intimate ambiance perfect for couples or a relaxed night out. It is also perfectly positioned at the back of the restaurant, making you forget for a minute that you are right in the bustling center of San Miguel. Some choices from their menu are: yellowfin tuna with grilled vegetables and creamy saffron sauce, beef steak with cambray potatoes and green beans with white wine, or tarte tatin eggplant with goat cheese and basil pesto. After tasting the wonderful food you can head next door to their bakery where you will find an array of freshly-made breads, cakes and pan dulce.
