Come share a beverage, meet the artists and hear Pastor Ignacio Ramírez describe the origins and workings of Casa ABBA – the migrant sanctuary in Celaya he founded eight years ago and which the event will benefit.

This is a gut-wrenching, photo and video documentary exhibit by an American television and print  photojournalist Jennifer Moran. Her year-long project takes us inside the walls of a small migrant  sanctuary in Celaya named Casa ABBA to see and hear the stories of its desperate inhabitants. What  would lead someone to make such a dangerous journey? And what happens to them when it goes  tragically wrong?

In addition, Moran invited seven of San Miguel’s best-known artists to create works on the migrant  theme. Their stunning artworks range from loud and abrasive, to terrifyingly beautiful. But no one  will leave this vibrant, exciting exhibit unmoved.

Artists are donating half of the proceeds their art sales to LARF for the benefit Casa ABBA.
