This Friday & Saturday, August 12 & 13, Sonic Butterfly will performing in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in the Grand Opening Performance for a fantastic month of festivals.
Sonic Butterfly / Andrea Brook will be joined by Chris Murphy on violin, Christine Law on keys, and Tomas Joaquin Burkey Marambio on drums.
Shows are at 9pm both evenings in the Center Square of SMA with the strings up to the bell tower of La Parroquia!Sonic Butterfly is a two-octave, chromatic, acoustic harp with strings and 60-foot-long projections and LED wings. The 60 foot strings extend over the heads of the audience, placing them inside the instrument and creating a full sensory experience. “It’s like being inside YoYo Ma’s cello”
