This weekend’s performances feature the exceptional Macondo Chamber Players, a renowned piano quintet. The ensemble includes Andrey Baranov, a celebrated violinist, Queen Elisabeth Competition winner, and the first violin of the Oistrakh Quartet; Raul Garcia, the principal violist of the National Symphony of Colombia; Francisco Vila, an accomplished cellist whose performances have been lauded internationally; Sami Merdinian, an Argentine violinist with an impressive soloist career, including performances with the Montevideo Philharmonic, the Argentine National Symphony, and the Charlemagne Orchestre. Sami is also a member of the award-winning string quintet Sybarite5, known for their performances at Carnegie Hall, the Library of Congress, Lincoln Center, and tours across the United States, Canada, Asia, and South America. Highly sought after as a tango violinist, Sami has collaborated with prominent artists in the genre and has received a Grammy Nomination. His accolades include a Gold Medal in the XII International Young Solo Instrumentalists Competition in Argentina and the New Talent Competition in Slovakia. He has been honored with the Rising Star Award by Tiffany & Co. and named Outstanding Artist of the Year by the Argentinian Press. Sami is also the co-host of the Down the Pit Podcast.

These include an Artists Supper/Cocktail after nearly every concert and, starting at US$500 per season, you have reserved and named seats for every concert.   With the ever increasing costs of artists fees, and to provide an efficient customer service process, we need new members, and existing members  to upgrade, to maintain the quality of our concerts and the concert going experience.
