Welcome to the authentic traditional gypsy world!  Once again, the Santa Ana theater is pleased to present the great gypsy artist Bartok Lataretu, an artist who has earned admiration and respect, not only for his amazing artistic quality, but for his simplicity and humility. His unmistakable style and profound sense of the interpretation of gypsy art has caught the most demanding audiences in different places of Latin America and Europe, positioning him as one of the most important “Rom” exponents who stands out for guarding and safeguarding the traditional style of gypsy art in the face of modernity what he describes in his own words as -a challenge for the new generations of gypsies-

Bartok, has collaborated with great musicians, such as Maestro George Miller, director of Embrujo Flamenco of the house Sony Music in different productions which reached a great success staying for 10 weeks in the first place of sale in the main record companies like Mix-up and Tower Records,whit the album “Guitarras Virtuosas”, and “Lo Mejor de Guitarras Virtuosas”, next to guitarists of the likes of Paco de Lucía, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Manolo Sanlucar. Has collaborated to in diverse international forums and festivals such as the International Festival Cervantino de Guanajuato, the Artistic Society of Monterrey, A.C., La Guitarra Hoy, Guerrero International Guitar Festival; The Flower Fair, France; The Fair of Friendly Cultures, CDMX; International Festival “Paiz” of Guatemala; Festival “La Guitarra en el Mundo” in Bolivia, International Festival of Puerto Rico, among others. We wait for you on Friday Mar 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the Teatro Santa Ana, (La Biblioteca) to enjoy the true traditional gypsy art.

It’s just amazing! Really never saw a guitarist like that, and his voice is like a volcano that marks you deeply. He has a great interpretive quality. An authentic Rom.
