This coming Friday is the album release party for my new album, “South of the Wall.” This is my 17th solo album since 1987, and my second since moving here to San Miguel almost four years ago. It’s a labor of love that was two years in the making, and I’m very excited to finally bring it to you.

The music winds from rock to jazzy to Latin to a beguine/tango hybrid to piano ballad to Dylanesque protest song to a political dirge for mandocello written the week of the horrid Trump election.

This is a Don Lupe’s “after hours” event: Friday, Nov. 30, 9-10:30pm. I’ll be doing a live performance and playing the album for you, and I’ll have CDs available for purchase and the link where you can get downloads online (and the download includes full album art, track information, etc.).

So I hope you can make it out, and thank you for your ongoing support of original music in San Miguel.
