Goût De France, the biggest French dinner in the world!
Goût de France Good de France is a gastronomic festival that pays tribute to French gastronomy around the world!
Launched in 2015 by chef Alain Ducasse and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Goût de France Good de France initiative brings together chefs from all over the world to celebrate the richness and excellence of French gastronomy, around its capacity for innovation and the values it entails: coexistence, pleasure, care of the planet, etc.
Goût de France Good France 2018 brought together 3300 restaurants in the world, 28 of which were from Mexico City and 11 states of the Republic. It is expected to reach 5000 chefs around the world this year.
The event invites each participating chef to prepare a 4-course menu of his own creation inspired by the culinary tradition of France. This year’s theme was “Responsible Cooking” and committed to the protection of the environment. Deciding to honor especially the region of Provence.

El menú ofrece platillos como el croque monsieur, huevos benedictinos, quiche de espinaca o camote, sopa de cebolla, cassoulet de Castelnaudary, sándwiches y más. Durante el verano, elige la ensalada niçoise, además de ser saludable es sumamente deliciosa. No olvides visitar “el vergel market”, una pequeña tienda con productos gourmet listos para llevar a casa, tales como sopas, ensaladas, queso, pan, vino, café, té, mermeladas y diferentes salsas.
Located in the Alborada road 17, in front of La Candelaria, “el vergel bistro” restaurant offers an authentic French dishes like croque monsieur, eggs benedict, spinach or sweet potatoe quiche, onion soup, cassoulet de Castelnaudary, sandwiches and more. During the summer choose the niçoise salad, in addition to being healthy is extremely delicious. Don´t forget to visit El Vergel Market, a small shop with gourmet products ready to take home, such as soups, salads, cheese, bread, wine, coffee, tea, jams and different sauces.
