  • Beto and his little sister Kika are ordering “calaverita” in a town in Xochimilco on a deserted, dark and foggy night. Kika starts trick-or-treating out loud, which makes Beto nervous. While waiting for Kika to return from a house far down the street, Beto sees a strange figure heading in his sister’s direction. To save her, she calls out the ghost’s name, “La Llorona”; the specter hears him and proceeds to chase him. Kika sees that Beto has disappeared, she looks for him and finds him just in time, to see him being carried by La Llorona near the creek.
