The Four Feathers is a film that bases its plot on the novel “The Four Feathers” written by A. E. W. Mason and is an adaptation of the 1939 film of the same name. This film starred Heath Ledger, Kate Hudson and Wes Bentley.
The film tells the story of Harry Faverham, a lieutenant in the British Army, a member of the Royal Summit Corps; who asks for discharge after being informed that his battalion will travel to fight in Sudan. His desertion is seen as an act of cowardice, which is why he is despised by his girlfriend and friends. This forces him to rethink his future and correct his actions.
