    FILM & DISCUSSION

    70 pesos

Over four years ago the disappearance and murder of 43 students from Ayotzinapa became a scandal that rocked the nation and tarnished Mexico’s officialdom at all levels – political, military and the police. Now President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has opened a new investigation that will hopefully get to the bottom of this crime and the coverup.

Mexican filmmaker Enrique García Meza has made a documentary that delves into the grief of the parents and families of the students. He will be in San Miguel to present his film “Ayotzinapa: The Turtle’s Way” and to remind us all of the importance of solidarity
