New workshop….Create your own Judas figures for Easter Sunday!Easter is approaching and the ritual of exploding Judas effigies in the Jardín is one my favorite festivals in San Miguel!In this workshop we will learn how to make small versions of your favorite Judas in Papier-Mâché and thenpaint them in the bright colors of Mexico, adding pieces of colored tissue paper to dress them.As we work we will also discuss the very interesting history and origins of this unique ritual.It’s a messy process so don’t wear your good clothes! I have aprons.DATES;March 28th and 29th12:30 pm to 3:30 pmAll class supplies are included.I have thirty years of teaching experience and I am happy to send references.COST;$95 USD or the MP equivalent.ENROLLMENT;A 50% deposit will be appreciated. I accept Zelle, PayPal and cash.I am now located on a magical old horse ranch just outside of San Miguel de Allende.
