(within the Instituto Allende Complex)Todo y Nada is back to replenish your creative spirits and maybe, just maybe, help to bring on the summer rains. Catherine Marenghi will return to read from her new book of love poems: Unfurled. We’ll also be welcoming first-time poetry feature Samuel Allison who will share some of his décimas, a classical form of Spanish poetry he is reimagining in English. Our poets will be followed by Chilean musician Katy Chan (La Narcisa, “The Daffodil”), who will be singing traditional songs from a variety of Latin American countries.
The evening will conclude with an open mic. Music, poetry, stories, and more. All media are welcome!
Hosted at Café Murmullo, adjacent to the Instituto Allende. Entry is free. We will pass the hat for our featured performers, and food/drink purchases are highly encouraged to support the venue. See you there!
