Storytelling Auditions / Audiciones de Cuentacuentos

Storytelling is the one artform where a first time performer can completely bowl over an audience. Do you have a story you long to tell? The San Miguel Literary Sala is having auditions for a night of stories we are calling, “It Was the Best of Times, It was the Worst of Times.” Each story must be true, told in the first person, and be no more than seven minutes long.

Auditions will take place on Zoom on January 19 and 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please contact Stephanie Medlock at cecilydewinter@icloud.com to sign up for an audition slot. She will send you a zoom link closer to the time of the auditions. A total of eight storytellers will be selected.

The storytelling evening, which will be bilingual,  will take place Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Café Murmullo on Ancha de San Antonio at 8:30 p.m. We look forward to hearing your stories!

La narración de historias es la única manifestación del arte en la que un intérprete primerizo puede dejar boquiabierto al público. ¿Tiene una historia que anhelas contar? La San Miguel Literary Sala realizará audiciones para una noche de cuentos que llamamos “Fue el mejor de los tiempos, fue el peor de los tiempos”. Cada historia debe ser verídica, contada en primera persona y no tener más de siete minutos de duración.

Las audiciones se realizarán por Zoom los días 19 y 20 de enero de 2024, de 10:00 a. m. a 6:00 p. m. Comuníquese con Stephanie Medlock en cecilydewinter@icloud.com para inscribirse en una audición. Ella enviará un enlace de Zoom al acercarse las fechas de las audiciones. Se seleccionarán un total de ocho narradores.

La velada de cuentacuentos, la cual será bilingüe,  tendrá lugar el miércoles 21 de febrero de 2024, en el Café Murmullo de la Ancha de San Antonio a las 20.30 horas. ¡Esperamos escuchar sus historias!
