Learn where to start. Using large databases, specifically Jewish databases, archives and even Ebay. How to use family stories. “Help! This record is in Hungarian!”

    Workshop — Thursday, Dec. 22nd, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Attendees from the first two sessions will have the opportunity to work directly with Dr. Kord on specific research strategies. Attendance will be limited.

For each Session and Workshop: 200 pesos, 150 pesos for members.

Dennis Kord, Ph.D. “Researching the history of my Central European family has been one of the most rewarding and frustrating tasks that I have ever undertaken. The one thing that I have learned is that you have to have a plan.”

Dr. Kord is a psychologist who has been researching his Habsburg family over the past decade. He is currently working on a book about his extended family and their lives in a constantly changing social and political environment.
