If you like to live it up in San Miguel de Allende, and most of us do, chances are pretty good that you have that black and white VIP card tucked away in your wallet or purse.  Getting discounts at area restaurants and other businesses is a great reward for area expats who are always looking for a deal.  But do you know the person behind the VIP card?

Lou Christine arrived in San Miguel de Allende in 1995 when, as he describes it, “ At a lifetime crossroads, I permitted the universe to take me and finally deliver me here”

Christine took a major leap of faith in 1987 when he left the business world to pursue a career in writing.  Over the years, this Renaissance man has written novels, film scripts, and stage plays.  And in between, he dusted off his shrewd business skills and marketing expertise to create the VIP Card., which is now in its 19th year.

You’re invited to come and hear Lou Christine on Tuesday, May 7th at the Rotary Mid Day Club’s weekly meeting.  Christine will tell stories about his journey.  From life as a hard-driving businessman selling off all of his assets, to what brought him to San Miguel de Allende.    Join us for what promises to be an entertaining presentation, Tuesday, May 7th.  We’re located at Cafeteria San Miguel Essen, next to the yellow caboose on Sterling Dickenson.  Doors open at 9 AM with an optional breakfast for $100 pesos per person.  The presentation will begin at 9:30 and is free.
